› HOW DOES THE VENTA-AIRWASHER HUMIDIFY?
The Venta-Airwasher operates by the process of cold evaporation; you will not see any white residue, vapors or mists. The disk stack rotates in the water creating a surface area of over 4,2m² (LW 44). When dry air meets the surface area of the disk stack, the water evaporates and is sent out into the room. By using the cold evaporation process, any excess humidity can be virtually ruled out.
› CAN PARTICLES OR EVEN HYGIENE ADDITIVE COMPOUNDS ENTER THE ROOM AIR WITH THE AIRWASHER SYSTEM?
The Airwasher uses the well-known, highly effective principle of cold evaporation. Cold evaporation technology prevents particles or aerosols from being released into room air. As proof of this statement, the TÜV Nord was requested to carry out tests. The TÜV Nord confirmed in these tests that no aerosols capable of entering the lungs were released into the room air, regardless of whether or not the Hygiene Additive was used.
› WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE FOR THE VENTA AIRWASHER?
If possible the Venta Airwasher should be placed in the center of the room, or along a wall away from windows and a heat source. When using your Venta Airwasher for multiple rooms (larger model Venta Airwashers) it should be placed centrally between rooms. Allow 0,5m above and on either side of the Venta Airwasher to allow air circulation.
› WHAT IS THE OPTIMAL RUNTIME OF THE AIRWASHER?
That depends on the individual requirements. The longer the device is operated, the more extensive the humidification and cleaning effect. It is not possible to create too much humidification.
› WHAT IS THE CORRECT WAY TO VENTILATE THE ROOM?
We recommend to briefly air out the room several times a day. (Intermittent ventilation – windows that are always open significantly reduce the cleaning and humidification effect.)
› CAN THE DEVICE RUN FOR 24 HOURS A DAY?
Yes, the device is suitable for continuous operation. Extremely low power consumption: less than 20 watt at the highest level.
› WHAT HAPPENS IF THE DEVICE DOESN‘T HAVE ENOUGH WATER?
As soon as there is not enough water in the water tray, the LW60T switches off automatically. If the yellow “Fill Tank” indicator appears in the display, this means that there is still enough water in the water tray (water tank is empty). Air humidification/air purification is still taking place. If the “Fill Tank” indicator glows red, no humidification/ purification is taking place, because there is not enough water in the water basin.
› WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE DEVICE IS NOT USED FOR A LONGER TIME?
The device can be put back in operation at any time, without a problem. In order to prevent remaining lime-scale sediment in the tray and in the tank from hardening, it should be emptied and cleaned before a longer period of not using the device
› HOW CAN I CLEAN THE AIRWASHER?
We recommend emptying the remaining water from the water tank and the water basin every 10-14 days. Please clean the water basin, the water tank and the disc stack under flowing water. The device features an automatic intensive cleaning program (duration approx. 4h). For the cleaning process, please use a bottle (250ml) of Venta Cleaner. The indication regarding the execution of the intensive cleaning program appears in red on the display: “Cleaning”. Please follow the directions on the display. The cleaning process can be carried out via the “Cleaning” button at any time.
› HOW DOES THE AIR HUMIDITY DISPLAY WORK?
The Humidifier is equipped with an integrated air humidity sensor. The current relative humidity from 20% to 99% is shown in the middle of the display. The accuracy of the air humidity display is approx. ±3%. It takes a little while for the humidity in the room to be measured.
› HOW CAN I CHECK IF THE AIR HUMIDITY SENSOR IS WORKING?
Use a hair dryer to blow air into the humidity sensor. After a while, the humidity in the display will drop. This shows that the humidity sensor is working properly
› HOW CAN I SET THE DESIRED AIR HUMIDITY?
The desired air humidity can be set in the “Humidity” field in 5% increments from 30 - 70%. Once the set air humidity is reached, the disc stack no longer turns and no humidification and purification takes place.
